Announcing the Ottawa venue for CLiFF

The Douglas-Coldwell Foundation www.dcf.ca is proud to be the host for the Ottawa venue of CLiFF – Canadian Labour International Film Festival www.labourfilms.caIn the words of Tommy Douglas, the Douglas-Coldwell Foundation’s Founding President, the Foundation would be “a gadfly to provoke discussion…to keep the movements on the left-whether the co-operative movement, the trade union movement or the political movement- from getting in a rut.”   We are certain that CLiFF will create great discussion.

We have secured the 386 seat Auditorium at the National Library and Archives for the afternoons of Saturday November 28, 2009 and Sunday November 29, 2009.  More details will be announced shortly so check back often.  You can also follow along on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/group.php?gid=18452330645, the CLiFF web site www.labourfilms.ca or The Douglas-Coldwell Foundation’s web site www.dcf.ca

In solidarity,

Doug Massey
