The venerable Bloor Cinema, located in the heart of Toronto will be the official venue for the Toronto location of the Canadian Labour international Film Festival (CLiFF).

“The Bloor”, as it is affectionately known, has 830 seats with three levels: the ground floor with 400 seats, the front balconey with 228 seats and the upper balconey seating 197 people. The screen measures 16′ X 28′ and is hosts not only repertory films, but also many film festivals and special occasions such as the January 2009 inauguration of Barack Obama.

The Bloor is the ideal place for CLiFF to screen films as well as host the Awards Night and closing ceremonies for the first-ever Canadian Labour International Film Festival.

Built in 1905, the cinema is located on Bloor Street West near the corner of Bathurst Street, around the corner for the TTC.
